I found another article on MSN, this one on buying rental properties. I found this to be a nice thumbnail article of things to do and consider prior to investing in a rental property. I do believe that this is one of the best times that I have seen to buy rental properties, inventories are up, prices and interest rates are still down. One of the best things that this article brings out is that you need an agent with some experience in rental or investment properties.
I also think that it is a good idea to talk to property managers or someone that has done extensive property management to help you understand what the rents are, and what occupancy rates to expect. Anyway, I found the article to be positive and I do agree, now is a great time to buy investment property!
