As each of us digs in and gives to our favorite charity this Holiday Season, I would like to commend you on your service. Whether it is of time or money is irrelevant, it is the effort and the giving that is important. For a lot of people, this is a rough time of year, suicide rates escalate and the despair that many feel deepens, as their personal resources grow tighter. Whether you are in a position to give a little, a lot or not at all, please remember your friends and neighbors, especially if they are alone this time of year. Often just including them into your activities is a great help.
For those that help this Holiday Season with money, you're doing a great thing! For those that don't have extra to share in the terms of dollars, food pantries all over the country can use canned goods or what ever we can do. This is truly a great country! We rise to the occasion for major disasters and to help our fellow man. Our profession at least here in Cedar City is leading the way in helping those less fortunate and need help.
