Winning.........................

There is on the white board in our training room at the office a quote, I am not sure who wrote it, but I liked it.  I goes: Whoever said that winning isn't everything, has never battled cancer!  What a true statement!  We have a Realtor in our office that is currently battling this horrific disease.  This is one thing that has touched nearly every family in our country.  I have lost several loved ones to one form or another of this disease.

I am sure that many other of our Active Rainers are in the same boat as I am.  I am glad that I have the opportunity to work with this fine lady!  She never calls attention to her disease nor does she ever complain about it.  She is truly an inspiration!  This is one battle that it is everything to win!  Thank you to everyone who did the Cancer Walks and other things.

I am inspired by individuals who face this horrific disease with grace and class like my coworker, and the University of Tennessee basketball player.  What great examples in the look at me world that we live in!  They just quietly go about their lives, living them to the fullest and showing us grace in times of difficulty.  I hope and pray that this is one that we do win!

My step mother fought it for 5 years. Beat it got it beat it got it. The whole while under treatment running a shelter for homeless children. Its a hard battle!

Tony and Darcy- winning is everything when you have cancer.  It is unbelievable how devastating it can be.  It definitely has touched and still is touching my life right now.  (not me, but my brother) It really is a sad for those involved.  But, somehow  God  gets us through it.

Hey guys:

Very touching post. Cancer has taken 3 family members from us early. My dad 59, My wifes mom and dad 59 and 67 respectively.

I think I just realized that you are from Cedar City home of the shakespear festival. We attended several years ago and had a blast. What a fun place to live. Have a great week.
