Bad Agents Need to go away.......................

Darcy does bookkeeping part time for a local construction company.  She is in a small office complex with several different businesses in the complex.  She was talking to a lady that works at another business who told her that she has a house in another state that is listed with an agent.

The lady told Darcy that her agent called to say that they were holding an Open House on a weekend.  The lady and her husband were curious so they decided to go and just see what kind of interest their house was generating.  They drove into town the night before so that they could kind of see what was happening.  The day started, no signs, no agent, no visitors, etc.

At the end of the weekend, she called to see how the Open House went.  The Agent's response to the question of how the Open House went was that it was kind of slow.  The lady didn't tell Darcy how the Agent explained away the fact that the sellers had been there all weekend and no one showed up to hold an Open House, let alone attend it.

We DO NOT need agents like these infesting themselves on buyers and sellers like the plague!  They need to go back to whatever it was they did before taking out a license to sell Real Estate.  They are a black eye to the other 99.9% of hardworking Agents trying to make a living honorably!  Thanks for allowing me to vent!  I was just so appalled when Darcy told me this story that I needed to vent rather than blow a gasket!

If you're looking to buy or sell real estate in Cedar City, Utah; please give us a call.  We would love to earn your business!

Sounds as if this agent is a liar, bold-faced and probably very good at it.  The sellers should complain to the agent's broker, fire her and find someone else.  She is not just a bad agent;  she's a liar.

I agree with her needing to be fired and her broker knowing why she was fired!

As a broker, I would then fire the agent.  I do not have room in my organization for anyone who knowingly misleads a client...ever.

Hope that is an isolated case, If i was the client the agent would be long gone.

WOW that is horrible.  I hope she gets fired for that.  She could have at the very least told the truth that she did not show up.

Thanks again for your outrage also,  I agree that this agent should be fired!  I really hope that this is an isolated case!  Scott, I like the integrity that you show in your brokerage, thank you!  Thanks again for commenting!

Tony, I don't know how anyone can lie that way and feel good about themselves!  I feel the truth is always the best no matter how bad it is!

For sure the seller may want to consider canceling the listing contract. This should be just reason for them to be able to do so. They need an agent who will work for them and do a good job.
