California, here we are! We drove most of the night, and made it safely to Darcy's parents house. It is always a good thing to spend time with family. I comes down to priorities. Making money is always a priority, especially with the market being what it is. There just are some things that are more important.
It was a good uneventful drive at least after we got through Las Vegas. I just don't understand narrowing Interstate 15 south bound to 1 lane for construction, especially on a week like Thanksgiving which is typically the busiest travel week of the year. I hope that it was so that they could get it open for today's traffic! Anyway, I am not really complaining, just wondering.
I really enjoy spending time with family, and realizing why we do what we do! Again have a safe Thanksgiving and enjoy yourselves!

Hello guys, I am glad you had a safe trip and hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Be careful on your return trip.
You know what I think of California, I am so jealous!
"Happy Thanksgiving"
The reason why they narrowed I-15 for construction is because you're in California. Welcome! We don't do things the typical way out here, and we have something like a $6 billion budget deficit, so the construction work might never get done -- LOL.
You didn't tell us where you are in California, though, although if you were going south on I-15 out of Las Vegas, one would have to presume Bakersfield, Los Angeles, or even San Diego. You better not be here without advance notice!
Thank you all for your comments.
Russell we are actually in the High Desert, although we love the San Diego area, if you haven't noticed from some later posts. We are having a nice time visiting Darcy's family. We figured that if we had family here we didn't need advance notice. LOL
